— Our slogan
“Where Faith Is Served and Souls Are Nourished.”
The Soul Kitchen is a grassroots Catholic-Christian ministry that began in March 2023 following the passing of the founder’s wife after a courageous battle with cancer. As part of the healing process, a few men from his parish began gathering at his home. They shared simple meals, a little wine, and most importantly, their faith. What started as a few friends offering support and practicing the Corporal Works of Mercy soon became something deeper. Over time, this informal gathering evolved into a beautiful ministry we now affectionately call The Soul Kitchen.
What began with paper plates and plastic cups has grown into a structured yet welcoming faith experience. Today, diners gather around a shared table with plates, silverware, and wine glasses, following a Gospel reflection format guided by the Holy Spirit. On average, about twelve participants gather each month. These participants are known as Soul Kitchen Diners. As the ministry has grown, so has the bond between the diners.
About the Founding Diners
- The founding diners represent a diverse yet united brotherhood of faith.
- A group of faith-filled men from different parishes, denominations, and stages of faith
- Some were lifelong friends, while many new friendships were formed
- Ages range from 26 to 78
- Fellowship continues to deepen into a genuine brotherhood
- Our shared faith continues to grow, helping us become better Catholic and Christian men
Over time, this brotherhood has become deeply rooted. There is openness, vulnerability, encouragement, and accountability among the diners.
This environment is built on trust and confidentiality, allowing men to share their struggles, victories, and spiritual journeys honestly.
The foundation of the Soul Kitchen brotherhood is:- Prayer
- Our shared love for the Lord
- A desire to grow closer to Him
- When a diner has a need or prayer request, the group responds immediately. Our group messages often “light up” with prayers, encouragement, and support
At The Soul Kitchen, we emphasize the importance of fellowship and community. Our gatherings are designed to foster connections and deepen relationships among participants. We believe that through shared experiences, we can grow closer to God and to one another, creating a supportive environment for spiritual growth and reflection.
Our commitment to serving others is reflected in how we live our daily lives. We strive to meet the needs of our community through acts of kindness. Through word and deed, we aim to embody the teachings of Christ and inspire others to do the same.

Our Commitment to Faith and Community
At The Soul Kitchen, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where individuals can explore their faith and connect with others.Through our dinning experience, we aim to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and community involvement. We believe that by coming together, we can support one another on our faith journeys and make a positive impact in the world around us.
